Manchester City targets Nicolo Tresoldi as potential Haaland successor

Manchester City has reportedly identified German U21 international Nicolo Tresoldi as a potential successor to Erling Haaland. The 22-year-old striker, who currently plays for FC Brugge, has attracted significant interest from several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Newcastle United.

Reports suggest Manchester City may be prepared to offer approximately 50 million euros for the player. Tresoldi, who moved from Hannover 96 to FC Brugge in the summer of 2025 for roughly seven million euros, has gained prominence through his performances in the Champions League, including a hat-trick against Inter Milan.

Separately, RB Leipzig defender David Raum is being linked to a move to Manchester United. With Raum's contract approaching its end, the Premier League club is reportedly considering him a high priority for defensive reinforcements during the winter transfer window.
