Manchester City Targets Real Madrid Midfielder Federico Valverde with €100 million Offer

Manchester City is reportedly preparing an offer of around €100 million for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde. The English club has opened talks with the Spanish side, but Real Madrid has indicated it will not consider a sale for less than €100 million and will only proceed if Valverde himself wishes to leave. Valverde, 27, is under contract with Real until 2029.

Both clubs are undergoing managerial changes: Enzo Maresca has taken over as City manager following Pep Guardiola's departure, while José Mourinho has been appointed Real Madrid coach. The potential transfer is seen as a key part of City’s rebuilding of its midfield, complementing recent signings such as Elliot Anderson, and could shape the squads of both clubs for the coming seasons.
