Manchester City to host Brighton in Carabao Cup match

Manchester City is set to host Brighton & Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium for a fourth-round Carabao Cup fixture. Following a recent 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa, manager Enzo Maresca is expected to heavily rotate his squad.

Key team news for Manchester City includes the absence of Antoine Semenyo, who is sidelined with a knee injury and is not expected to return until December. Matheus Nunes remains a doubt due to a groin issue, though he may be available. Phil Foden is expected to be recalled to the starting lineup.

Predicted lineups suggest a 4-2-3-1 formation for City, with players such as Floyd Samba, Allan, and Ryan McAidoo likely to start. The rotation strategy aims to provide rest for key players following recent domestic and European fixtures.
