Manchester City stadium expansion includes luxury hotel rooms

Manchester City is undergoing a €350 million reconstruction of the Etihad Stadium, which includes the development of the Radisson Blu Medlock hotel directly connected to the venue. A key feature of the project is ten specialized ‘Pitch View’ rooms that offer dual functionality.

On non-match days, these 36-square-meter luxury rooms serve as standard hotel accommodations. On match days, they transform into private hospitality suites for up to 12 guests. These suites feature private balconies on the fourth level of the newly named Pep Guardiola Stand, providing direct views of the pitch through large glass openings.

The hospitality package includes a pan-Asian menu, various beverages, and a personal waiter. Guests can access the space three hours before kickoff and remain for one hour after the match. The broader stadium expansion has added over 7,000 seats to the former North Stand, increasing the total capacity of the Etihad to over 61,000 spectators. Reservations for the hotel are set to begin on September 14.
