Manchester murder-suicide leaves man and wife dead, child injured

Authorities in Manchester, New Hampshire, have identified 36-year-old Bianchinies Cruz and his wife, 35-year-old Alisha Hathaway Cruz, as the victims of a murder-suicide. Investigators believe Bianchinies Cruz shot Alisha Cruz multiple times before turning the gun on himself at their home on Wheelock Street.

The couple’s 8-year-old son was struck in the torso by a bullet that traveled through an adjoining wall during the incident. The child was airlifted to a hospital in Massachusetts and was reported to be in serious condition.

Police responded to the residence on Tuesday morning following a welfare check requested by a family member. While the circumstances point to a murder-suicide, officials have not yet released a motive for the shooting.
