Manchester United and Arsenal target Roma defender Wesley

Manchester United and Arsenal are among several Premier League clubs monitoring AS Roma wing-back Wesley. The 23-year-old Brazilian, who joined Roma from Flamengo in 2025, has seen his market value rise to an estimated €50–60 million following impressive performances under manager Gian Piero Gasperini.

While Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle United have shown significant interest, Roma reportedly maintains a strong negotiating position. The club has expressed no intention of selling the defender during the upcoming January transfer window, which may force interested parties to wait until the summer. Wesley is currently under contract with the Italian club until 2030.

Other clubs reportedly monitoring the player include Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, and Chelsea, as well as Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, and AC Milan. Scouts have highlighted Wesley’s athleticism, technical quality, and ability to play on either flank as key attributes.
