Manchester United and other Premier League clubs target Sunderland striker Brian Brobbey

Dutch forward Brian Brobbey, 24, has impressed for Sunderland with seven league goals last season and a two‑goal performance against Sweden at the World Cup. His blend of size, speed and finishing has drawn interest from several top English clubs.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham are reported to be monitoring the striker, while Sunderland – who bought Brobbey from Ajax for a fee reported around €25 million (£17 million) – have indicated they will demand a premium and are reluctant to sell before his contract runs until 2029. United view him as an option to add depth to their attack, whereas the other clubs see him as a potential replacement for underperforming forwards.
