Manchester United considers €30 million bid for Troy Parrott
Manchester United is reportedly preparing a €30 million offer for Real Betis striker Troy Parrott to strengthen their attacking options during the upcoming winter transfer window. The English club is looking for a central striker to provide competition for Benjamin Sesko, potentially following the expected January departure of Joshua Zirkzee.
Parrott, a 24-year-old Irish forward, previously gained significant attention during his time at AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, where he recorded 31 goals and 12 assists in 48 appearances. While his recent form at Real Betis has been more modest, Manchester United remains interested in his ability to run behind defensive lines, his positioning in the box, and his capacity to drop deep to assist in offensive build-up.
Although the proposed €30 million exceeds Parrott’s current estimated valuation of €20 million, Real Betis holds a release clause in his contract valued at €80 million. Manchester United officials are expected to monitor his performances in upcoming matches before making a formal approach.
