Manchester United eyes Bologna winger Jonathan Rowe

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Bologna winger Jonathan Rowe as they look to add a specialist left‑winger before the transfer window closes. The club have already signed midfielders Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, goalkeeper Karl Darlow and youngster Tynan Thompson, but still seek a third midfielder and a new left‑back.

Rowe, a former Norwich City youth product, spent a season at Marseille before joining Serie A side Bologna, where he recorded eight goals and five assists in 44 appearances last season. Bologna are reportedly asking around €40 million for the 23‑year‑old, having bought him for roughly €19.5 million in 2025. Reports also mention interest in other wingers such as Bradley Barcola, but United’s primary focus appears to be Rowe.
