Manchester United eyes McTominay reunion amid injury concerns

Manchester United is reportedly considering a summer move for Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay. The former United player is understood to be open to a return next year as he enters the final year of his contract in Italy. Reports suggest McTominay is seeking a salary of £7 million per annum, a figure Napoli is currently reluctant to meet.

On the pitch, the club faces injury concerns ahead of their upcoming Premier League fixtures. Marcus Rashford is recovering from a knock sustained during a match against Fulham, with a potential return expected around October 10. Additionally, Benjamin Sesko has withdrawn from international duty due to a recurring shin injury, leaving his availability uncertain.
