Manchester United eyes RC Lens talent amid JJ Gabriel departure rumors

Manchester United is facing uncertainty regarding the future of 15-year-old talent JJ Gabriel, who has expressed a desire to leave the club following disagreements with his family. While Gabriel has reportedly targeted moves to Spanish clubs like FC Barcelona or Real Madrid, Barcelona chief Deco has publicly ruled out a signing. Furthermore, transfer regulations regarding players of his age may prevent a move until he turns 16 next month.

In response to Gabriel's potential departure, Manchester United is reportedly monitoring RC Lens youngster Mezian Mesloub as a possible replacement. The 16-year-old attacking midfielder has gained significant attention across Europe after a record-breaking Ligue 1 debut, where he scored just seconds after entering the pitch. Mesloub, who represents Portugal at the junior level, is also being scouted by several other major European clubs.
