Manchester United faces Bournemouth amid managerial pressure

Manchester United enters a Premier League match against Bournemouth at Old Trafford under significant pressure. Following a 4-1 midweek loss to Como, manager Michael Carrick has opted to bench captain and reigning Player of the Year Bruno Fernandes.

The Red Devils are currently attempting to break a seven-match winless streak across all competitions. In contrast, Bournemouth arrives on a three-match winning streak, including recent Europa League victories over Sturm Graz and AC Milan. Bournemouth has also maintained a strong recent record at Old Trafford, remaining unbeaten in their last three visits.
