Manchester United faces injury crisis and plans €70M bid for Tottenham defender

Manchester United faces significant squad depth concerns ahead of their upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur. Nine players, including Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo, are reportedly facing late fitness tests following their withdrawal from international duty. Other players dealing with injury concerns include Noussair Mazraoui, Bruno Fernandes, and Benjamin Sesko.

In transfer news, Manchester United is reportedly preparing a €70 million bid for Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven during the January window. The Dutch international is viewed as a primary target to bolster United's defensive stability, though his departure would significantly impact Tottenham's high-pressing tactical system.
