Manchester United finalize £70m Gordon signing and confirm Ederson arrival

Manchester United have completed the £70 million transfer of winger Anthony Gordon from Newcastle, securing the LaLiga champion's new signing ahead of the new season.

The club are also moving forward with the acquisition of goalkeeper Ederson from Atalanta. The deal is reported to be £35 million plus add‑ons, with the Brazilian expected to sign a four‑year contract after his World Cup exit. A medical is being arranged for him in England.

Meanwhile, striker Marcus Rashford is set to leave United, with the player indicating he will not move until after the World Cup. United have ruled out another season‑long loan and are considering winger Crysencio Summerville as his replacement.
