Manchester United interested in Como defender Jacobo Ramon

Manchester United are reportedly intensifying their interest in signing Como defender Jacobo Ramon. The 21-year-old Spanish centre-back has emerged as a high-value target following his standout performances in Serie A, most notably during Como’s 4-1 Champions League victory over Manchester United.

United are reportedly looking to refresh their defensive line, especially amid speculation regarding the future of Lisandro Martinez. Ramon, who joined Como from Real Madrid in 2025 for approximately €2.5 million, is now valued at around €50 million.

Competition for the defender is expected to be significant. Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Fulham have all been linked to the player. Real Madrid may also complicate a potential transfer due to a 50 per cent sell-on clause and buy-back options included in his previous move to Italy.
