JJ Gabriel transfer saga intensifies as Manchester United talent seeks exit

JJ Gabriel, a 15-year-old talent at Manchester United, has formally requested to leave the club, sparking intense interest from several major European football teams. Gabriel has reportedly been absent from training following a hat-trick in his UEFA Youth League debut.

While Real Madrid is widely reported to be in a leading position to sign the attacker, Barcelona sporting director Deco has publicly denied the club's involvement. Deco stated, “We are not interested in any player in his situation,” and emphasized that the club must first understand the circumstances before engaging with teenage players.

Other clubs including Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also reportedly monitoring the situation. Gabriel will turn 16 on October 6, a milestone that may allow him to sign with an EU-based club if he secures the necessary citizenship through his parents. Manchester United is currently attempting to retain the player and has declined his request to cancel his registration.
