Leeds United prepares for Manchester United clash amid Farke contract news

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke is reportedly close to agreeing a contract extension that would keep him at Elland Road until the summer of 2029. This development follows Farke’s decision to part ways with his agent as negotiations with the club progressed.

Leeds is set to host Manchester United at Elland Road this Sunday for a Premier League Matchweek 7 fixture. The match comes at a critical time for both clubs. Leeds currently sits seventh in the league with nine points, while Manchester United is in thirteenth place with six points.

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick faces significant pressure following the club’s worst league start in 40 years, having secured only one win in their first six matches. Statistics show Carrick has lost all five of his managerial league meetings against Farke. Meanwhile, Leeds looks to bounce back from a recent 2-1 loss to Arsenal.
