Manchester United target Leeds striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Manchester United are reportedly considering a January transfer move for Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin to address a shortage of central attacking options. The interest follows a long-term injury to Benjamin Sesko, who is expected to remain sidelined with a recurring shin ailment until at least January 2027.

Calvert-Lewin, 29, has experienced a resurgence at Elland Road since joining Leeds on a free transfer in 2025, scoring 20 goals in 49 appearances across all competitions. While United’s recruitment department is evaluating the English international, a deal is considered difficult due to the fierce historic rivalry between the two clubs.

Reports indicate that Leeds United are preparing to secure the striker’s future by offering him a new contract. His current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2028, leaving the Yorkshire club in a strong position to retain their leading forward.
