Manchester United rejects transfer interest in Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United has declared that club captain Bruno Fernandes is not for sale, intending to reject any incoming offers before the summer transfer window closes in September. The club’s firm stance marks a departure from last summer, when the player was given the choice to accept a massive offer from Al-Hilal, a situation that Fernandes later stated left him feeling “hurt”.

Galatasaray is reportedly preparing an offer valued at approximately €35 million to €50 million, with a total package including wages that would be significantly higher. Italian clubs Juventus and AC Milan are also monitoring the situation. Despite interest, Manchester United sources indicate the 31-year-old midfielder is not available at any price.

Fernandes currently has one year remaining on his contract, with an option for an additional season. While a £57 million release clause has expired—granting the club more control over his future—no agreement regarding a contract extension has been reached. Fernandes enters the upcoming period following a strong 2025-26 season in which he recorded 21 Premier League assists.
