Manchester United signs Liverpool winger Isaac Konde

Manchester United has officially confirmed the signing of 16-year-old winger Isaac Konde from Liverpool. The talented youngster, who featured regularly for Liverpool’s Under-18 side toward the end of the 2025/26 campaign, will join United’s Under-18 squad as part of a long-term development plan.

The transfer involves a compensation package expected to reach seven figures, with Liverpool set to receive at least one million pounds. The deal is structured as an initial one-year scholarship that is intended to transition into a five-year professional contract.

Konde is noted for his explosive pace, direct running, and ability to engage defenders in one-on-one duels, primarily operating from the left wing. This move highlights the increasing frequency of academy recruitment battles between major English clubs.
