Manchester United targeting January transfer for left-back

Manchester United is reportedly looking to strengthen its defensive options at left-back during the upcoming January transfer window. The move comes as manager Michael Carrick seeks to address ongoing injury concerns at Old Trafford.

This interest follows a recent 3-2 Champions League comeback victory against Roma, where Matheus Cunha scored twice and Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty. Despite the win, Carrick has emphasized the need for momentum and noted that squad depth remains a priority following recent injury setbacks.
