Manchester United targeting Lewis Hall as left-back option

Manchester United is reportedly revisiting interest in Newcastle United left-back Lewis Hall to address the club's defensive needs. Following a summer transfer window where the club focused on midfield reinforcements, the hierarchy has expressed regret over not securing a new left-back.

Despite Hall signing a contract extension with Newcastle that runs until 2031, United remains an admirer. Reports suggest Newcastle's valuation for the defender could exceed €100m due to his rising profile. Manchester United is also considering Adrien Truffert of Bournemouth as a potential target.

A defensive reshuffle at Old Trafford appears likely, as current players Luke Shaw and Lisandro Martinez are expected to depart at the end of the season.
