Manchester United targets Barcelona players Fermín López and Eric Garcia

Manchester United is reportedly pursuing two players from FC Barcelona to strengthen their squad.

The English club has shown significant interest in Fermín López, with reports suggesting a potential record-breaking offer of up to 150 million euros. Manchester United views the 2003-born attacker as a potential leader and a successor to captain Bruno Fernandes. However, Barcelona president Joan Laporta is reportedly unwilling to part with the player without meeting a specific release clause, and the player himself appears inclined to stay at the club.

Additionally, Manchester United has submitted an offer for defender Eric Garcia. The 25-year-old Spaniard has reportedly rejected interest from Paris Saint-Germain and currently has seven other proposals on the table. While Manchester United is offering improved financial terms compared to his current contract, Barcelona intends to keep the defender, and no agreement has been reached.
