Manchester United targets midfield reinforcements and winger Iliman Ndiaye in summer transfer window

Manchester United is active in the upcoming summer transfer window, seeking to strengthen its midfield after the departure of Casemiro. The club has already secured Brazilian midfielder Ederson and is reportedly focusing on a second midfield signing, with 21‑year‑old Mateus Fernandes highlighted as a key target. United is also monitoring Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye, a Senegal international who scored six goals and provided three assists last season, as a cheaper alternative to the previously linked Morgan Rogers. Everton is expected to demand a high fee for Ndiaye, potentially around £69 million, but United hopes to negotiate a lower price.
