Manchester United targets Youssouf Fofana for January transfer

Manchester United is reportedly preparing a significant offer for French midfielder Youssouf Fofana during the January transfer window. Fofana, who currently plays for Sevilla on loan from AC Milan, has been a target for manager Michael Carrick as the club seeks to bolster its midfield depth.

Sevilla manager Luis Garcia described Fofana as an unexpected and high-quality signing that arrived as a “gift” due to registration issues at his previous club. Meanwhile, Manchester United midfielder Carlos Baleba has reportedly made a positive impression at the club's Carrington training ground. Despite yet to make his Premier League debut following his move from Brighton, Baleba has been praised by staff for his character, energy, and dedication to fitness during his recovery from injury.
