Manchester United transfer updates: Leao's Premier League push, Rashford stays
Manchester United are active in the summer transfer market. Portuguese forward Rafael Leão announced his desire to leave AC Milan and is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League, with United among the clubs linked to the €60m‑valued striker. Italian side Roma have tabled a €46m bid for West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville, while United have also shown interest in the 24‑year‑old. Academy goalkeeper Radek Vítek has confirmed he wants to seek regular first‑team football elsewhere, and forward Ben Nelson has indicated a desire to leave Leicester.
Transfer analyst Fabrizio Romano reported that Manchester United have decided to keep Marcus Rashford after his proposed Barcelona move collapsed, meaning the club may not pursue a new left‑winger this window. If Rashford were to leave, United could still target Iliman Ndiaye or Summerville, but Romano said the club remains "cold" on new winger signings while Rashford stays.
Other summer arrivals for United include goalkeeper Karl Darlow, midfielders Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, completing several of the club's transfer objectives.
