Manchester United U19s reach Otten Innovation Cup play-off final

Manchester United’s U19 squad, led by Darren Fletcher, has reached the 5th-6th place play-off final at the Otten Innovation Cup following a 2-0 victory over Club Brugge. The win follows a group stage performance that included a 2-2 draw against Adelaide United.

In the match against Club Brugge, United controlled the midfield and utilized a high press to secure the win. Goals were provided by Jaume Camacho, who scored a long-range strike, and Camron Mpofu, who converted a penalty. The team will face SL Benfica in the play-off final on Sunday.

The Otten Innovation Cup, hosted by PSV Eindhoven, features unique experimental rules, including two 20-minute halves with a running clock and specific sin-bin penalties for certain fouls.
