Manchester United U21s defeat Brentford to maintain perfect record

Manchester United U21s maintained a perfect start to their Premier League 2 season with a 3-2 victory over Brentford at the Progress With Unity Stadium.

Despite Brentford taking an early lead in the 20th minute through Isaac Holland, Manchester United equalized during first-half stoppage time when Amir Ibragimov scored following a counter-attack. United took the lead in the 63rd minute after a speculative shot by Yuel Helafu deflected into the net. Victor Musa extended the lead in the 76th minute, assisted by the Fletcher brothers, before Holland scored a late consolation goal for Brentford.

The match took place without JJ Gabriel, who was reportedly in Spain to discuss a move to Barcelona. Manchester United's squad was bolstered by Harry Amass and Tyler Fletcher, both of whom recently transitioned from the first-team bench.
