Manchester United launches new blue away kit for 2026/27 season
Manchester United has unveiled its new away kit for the 2026/27 season. Designed by Adidas, the jersey returns to a classic royal blue, a colour the club last used in a regular away shirt in 2016/17 and reminiscent of kits from the late 1980s. The design features the Adidas Trefoil logo, red and white trim on the V‑neck collar and sleeve cuffs, and a tonal stripe that runs down the fabric. Snapdragon is displayed prominently as the principal shirt sponsor.
The kit was first shown publicly when British rapper Stormzy wore it during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, prompting the club to confirm the leak. United will debut the shirt in a pre‑season friendly against Rosenborg in Trondheim on 24 July, followed by matches against Atletico Madrid and others. Prices start at £85 for adult replicas, with authentic versions beginning at £120. The launch ties the new kit to historic club successes, including the 1968 European Cup and the 2017 Europa League victories that were won while wearing similar blue shirts.
