Manchester United Women lead Charlton Athletic 3-1

Manchester United Women have taken a 3-1 lead against Charlton Athletic Women in their Women’s Super League Matchweek 6 fixture at The Valley. Julia Zigiotti Olme scored the third goal for Manchester United with a right-footed shot from the center of the box, assisted by Jess Park.

Following a difficult start to the season that included losses to London City Lionesses and Chelsea, Manchester United Women have secured seven points from their recent matches, including draws against Arsenal and victories over West Ham and Liverpool.

Head coach Eva Olid noted that the team has improved through honest communication following their heavy defeat to Chelsea. Olid used the recent international break to reorganize staff roles and prepare the squad for a more connected approach to their upcoming fixtures.
