Manchester United Women sign winger Monica Jusu Bah
Manchester United Women have confirmed the signing of 23-year-old Swedish winger Monica Jusu Bah from BK Hacken. The deal is reported to be worth more than £400,000 and includes a four-year contract.
Bah, who represents Sweden internationally, arrives following a successful period at Hacken where she helped the club win the Damallsvenskan and the UEFA Women’s Europa Cup. During her time in Sweden, she recorded 25 goals in 95 appearances. The winger is expected to provide attacking depth following the departure of Melvine Malard to Chelsea.
This marks United's third summer signing, joining defender Andrea Medina and goalkeeper Janina Leitzig. Bah expressed excitement about joining the club and working under head coach Eva Olid, stating, “It’s an unbelievable feeling to join Manchester United.”
