Tottenham blocks Pedro Porro sale while Manchester United probe Cristian Romero transfer

Both Steven Railston and Sam C said United have not made an approach, despite earlier speculation that the Argentine defender could move to a Spanish club such as Atlético Madrid or Barcelona. Tottenham have secured Romero with a contract extension that includes a €60 million release clause, and they face competition from several Spanish giants for his signature.

Separately, Tottenham have made clear that right‑back Pedro Porro is not for sale. The club set a £50 million valuation for the player, higher than the £40 million they paid Sporting CP last year, as Manchester City and Real Madrid have shown interest.
