The sports action drama Mandaadi is experiencing significant box office success following its release on September 10, 2026. The All India tracked gross for its opening weekend reached ₹37.27 crore, with actual estimates exceeding ₹40 crore and worldwide estimates near ₹50 crore.

Lead actor Soori, who portrays a fishing expedition leader, received personal praise from Tamil cinema superstar Rajinikanth. Soori shared on social media that Rajinikanth watched the film and called him to express his appreciation, describing the interaction as a “priceless moment” and a “blessing” for the entire team.
