Mandarin orange orchards in Tokyo and Mie open for seasonal picking

Mandarin orange orchards in Musashimurayama, Tokyo, and Tsu, Mie Prefecture, have announced their seasonal opening schedules for mandarin orange picking.

In Musashimurayama, Uchino Mikan Orchard is scheduled to open on November 1, 2026. The orchard reports a bountiful harvest with no significant damage from stink bugs. The orchard features Miyagawa Wase varieties and offers 90-minute all-you-can-eat sessions.

In Tsu City, the Tsu City Tourism Mikan Orchard is open from October 20 to November 30, 2026. The facility offers seasonal picking experiences that include souvenirs, and provides a rental orchard system for those wishing to take their entire harvest home.
