Mandau Police detain jewelry store owner for suspected receipt of stolen gold

Police in Mandau have detained a 24-year-old man, identified by the initials RK, suspected of acting as a receiver for stolen gold. The investigation follows the theft of gold valued at Rp 74 million from a residence in the Bathin Solapan district.

According to Mandau Sector Police, RK, who owns the Permadani Silver Jewelry Store, allegedly purchased the stolen gold from a previous suspect, JA, for Rp 35 million without proper documentation. Authorities seized an iPhone and transaction photos as evidence. The suspect has been taken to the Mandau Police Station for further investigation regarding the receipt of stolen goods.
