Mandirituba traffic accident leaves one dead and two injured

A 21-year-old woman, Sabrina Maiara Castilho dos Santos, has died following a traffic accident in Mandirituba, in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba. The incident occurred on August 8 when a vehicle crossed into the opposite lane on the BR-116 highway.

Two other victims, Suellen (38) and Guilherme (19), were also struck during the collision. Both have since been discharged from the hospital, though Suellen reported extensive physical injuries, including fractures to her feet, tibia, pelvis, and ribs, as well as spinal injuries. The young man, who lost his partner in the accident, is also undergoing recovery.
