Mandla Ncikazi appointed Lamontville Golden Arrows head coach

Mandla Ncikazi has been appointed as the new head coach of Lamontville Golden Arrows, marking his return to the KwaZulu-Natal-based club. Ncikazi succeeds Pitso Dladla, who departed following a five-game winless streak.

Ncikazi joins Golden Arrows after serving as an assistant coach at Orlando Pirates. His departure from the Soweto giants was supported by club management to allow him to pursue a head coaching role within the Premier Soccer League. During his tenure at Orlando Pirates, Ncikazi was part of a technical team that secured nine trophies.

Reflecting on his return, Ncikazi described the move as a ‘pre-destination’ and expressed his commitment to improving the team’s performance. His first match in charge is scheduled for the Carling Knockout Cup against Chippa United.
