Mandy Moore shares son's growing interest in music

Singer and actress Mandy Moore shared that her five-year-old son, August “Gus” Harrison Goldsmith, is developing an interest in music. According to Moore, Gus has already written a nine-song album, which was recorded on smartphones with piano accompaniment from his father, Taylor Goldsmith, a member of the band Dawes.

Moore noted that Gus has also become a frequent listener of her 1999 hit song “Candy,” leading her to jokingly implement a “moratorium” on how often the track is played during car rides. The actress mentioned that Gus has even observed the age connection between himself and her early music career.
