Mane acquires Cvista to launch U.S. citrus and beverage center

Mane, a France-headquartered flavor and fragrance manufacturer, has acquired Cvista, a Florida-based supplier of citrus oil fractions and natural essences. The acquisition will establish a global Citrus and Beverage Center of Excellence in Riverview, Florida.

The new center will integrate Cvista’s specialized expertise in citrus oil processing—including distillation, extraction, and molecular distillation—with Mane’s existing capabilities. Cvista is noted for its ability to isolate specific molecules such as valencene, decanal, and nootkatone to create unique flavor profiles.

According to Samantha Mane, president of Mane Group, the acquisition serves as a strategic catalyst for growth within the citrus and beverage sectors. The U.S.-based facility will provide Mane with closer proximity to key citrus sourcing regions and support the development of ingredients for functional and reduced-sugar beverage markets.
