Farmer Manfred Skrzypczak of Księżny Las in the Silesian region announced a two‑day self‑harvest event on 5‑6 June 2026. This follows severe frost damage that reduced strawberry yields by about 50 % and pushed retail prices up to 20 zł per kilogram in nearby Bronisz. The farmer will allow roughly 200 visitors per day to pick berries, with parking provided 200 m away and onsite sanitary facilities. He declined to set a fixed price, noting that it depends on market conditions.
