Manga and graphic novel series reach conclusions

Several prominent manga and graphic novel series are reaching their conclusions. Chihiro Yuzuki has announced that the manga series ‘With You, Our Love Will Make it Through’ (Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru) will end with its 13th volume, concluding five years of publication on Shueisha’s Manga Mee service.

The series, which explores the relationship between a high school student and an animal-human, has also seen an anime adaptation produced by studio Millepensee. While a specific release date for the final volume has not been set, the penultimate 12th volume is scheduled for release in Japan on September 25.

In the realm of graphic novels, Alice Oseman’s ‘Heartstopper’ series is concluding with its sixth and final volume, ‘The Last Kiss’. The series has gained significant international recognition for its representation of LGBT+ characters, focusing on the relationship between Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring as they navigate the transition into adulthood.
