Manga art exhibitions scheduled for Tokyo and Osaka

Several manga art exhibitions are scheduled to take place in Japan. Artist Narumi Kakinouchi, known for the ‘Vampire Princess Miyu’ series, will hold a new print exhibition in Tokyo and Osaka this October. The event will feature special displays of color original drawings used for the cover of the new work ‘Vampire Princess Miyui’, alongside approximately 30 other print works. The Tokyo exhibition will be held at Gallery Epicute from October 9 to 12, followed by an Osaka event at Breeze Plaza from October 23 to 25. The exhibitions will include talk shows and autograph sessions with the artist.

Additionally, Kyodo Printing Co., Ltd. will host the first reproduction art exhibition for the popular manga ‘Made in Abyss’ by Akihito Tsukushi. This event commemorates the release of the new theatrical series. The exhibition is set to begin on October 24, 2026, at the Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store in Tokyo, with a planned tour to Osaka. The display will include high-quality reproduction drawings, photo spots recreating scenes from the manga, and various production materials.
