Manga artist Uoto to hold first solo exhibition in Tokyo

Manga artist Uoto will hold their first solo exhibition, titled ‘UO10.’, to commemorate 10 years since their professional debut. The exhibition is scheduled to take place at the YURAKUCHO MUSEUM in Tokyo from December 19, 2026, to February 23, 2027.

The event will focus on three major works: ‘Hyakumu.’, ‘Chi: On the Movements of the Earth’, and ‘Welcome to FACT (Tokyo S-ku Second Branch)’. Visitors can view original drawings, storyboards, and materials that illustrate the creative process and the artist's unique worldview.

A unique feature of the exhibition is the inclusion of a functional workspace within the venue. Uoto will participate as an organizer and will use this space to work on new serializations. Works created during the exhibition period will be displayed sequentially as they are completed, allowing attendees to witness the real-time evolution of stories from concept to finished art.
