Manga Mavericks unveils three new manga licenses at Otakon 2026

At the Otakon 2026 convention, Manga Mavericks Books announced three new manga licenses for the English‑language market. The indie artist ZENZO will have two one‑shot action‑adventure titles, ONI KING and ROYD, released digitally in December 2026 at $0.99 each, aimed at readers aged 13 and up.

The slice‑of‑life manga TOWN WALKING WITH GHOST DOG by Ippan Nakamura will be published in both print and digital formats in May 2027, priced at $14.99 for the paperback and $6.99 for the e‑book, targeting readers 8+. Pre‑orders are set to open soon on the Manga Mavericks online store. The announcements were made during a panel at the convention.
