Mangabeira elderly groups to participate in civic parade

Elderly groups supported by the Mangabeira Social Assistance Reference Center (Cras) are participating in a civic parade on Avenida Josefa Taveira. Nearly 80 seniors will present themes focused on inclusion, social participation, and the valorization of the elderly.

Key presentations include the ‘Digital for All’ course, which promotes technological autonomy, as well as musical and dance performances by the Mangabeira Choir and local dance groups. Coordinator Camilla Carvalho noted that the participants actively helped organize the parade wings and rehearsals. The Cras Mangabeira currently serves approximately 128 seniors through various social strengthening and coexistence services.
