MangaCon returns to Lleida for second edition

The second edition of MangaCon, a convention dedicated to anime, manga, K-pop, and Japanese popular culture, is being held at Pavilion 4 of the Fira de Lleida. Organized by StarracoUnlimited in collaboration with Fira de Lleida and Lleida Turisme, the event brings together fans, artists, and creators.

The program features various activities, including video game tournaments, musical performances, and talks by voice actors such as Ramon Hernàndez and Eva Lluch. Attendees can explore a wide range of stalls selling merchandise, manga, posters, and second-hand video games. Local groups, such as the tabletop gaming association Alea Gaming, are also participating.

Following a successful first edition that drew between 4,000 and 5,000 visitors, organizers expect similar attendance this year. The event also includes specialized activities like cosplay contests judged by professionals.
