Mangalarga Marchador 43rd National Exhibition draws 1,639 horses in Belo Horizonte

The 43rd National Exhibition of the Mangalarga Marchador breed took place in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, from 18 July to 1 August 2026 at Parque da Gameleira. Organized by the Associação Brasileira dos Criadores do Cavalo Mangalarga Marchador (ABCCMM), the show featured 1,639 registered horses, 552 exhibitors from 18 Brazilian states, and an expected 200 000 visitors over its 15‑day program. The agenda included traditional March and Morphology judging, sporting and social competitions, technical lectures, product launches, and cultural activities.

On 31 July, the event hosted the Modão Mangalarga Marchador concert, highlighting Brazilian sertaneja music with performances by Zezé Di Camargo, the duo Clayton & Romário, and emerging artist Bruna Lipiani, adding a high‑profile entertainment component to the equine fair.
