Several distinct events have been reported in the Mangaluru and Puttur regions of Karnataka.

In Puttur, former MP Nalin Kumar Kateel criticized the current administration following a violent altercation at a shop. He alleged that the incident, which involved an attack on a woman, reflects a breakdown in law and order and accused authorities of failing to take action against the attackers while filing cases against the victims.

In medical news, doctors at the government Lady Logitech Hospital in Mangaluru successfully saved a seven-month pregnant woman facing life-threatening complications. The patient suffered from severe internal bleeding and placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall. Despite challenges with ICU availability elsewhere, the multidisciplinary medical team managed the critical case.
