Mangone nursery opens; Merate summer camp visits Sartirana reserve

On July 31, the new early‑childhood centre “Primo Volo” was inaugurated in Mangone (Farnete Colla). The open‑day event welcomed families, municipal representatives and the social cooperative “I Casali”, highlighting the facility’s role in supporting children’s development and assisting parents in the community.

Earlier, 45 children attending Merate’s municipal summer camp, run by Retesalute at the Montello primary school, spent a morning at the Sartirana lake nature reserve. Volunteers from the Briantea association taught recreational fishing and environmental stewardship. The youngsters caught several fish, received educational booklets on responsible fishing, and were praised by camp manager Miriam: “I bambini si sono divertiti moltissimo e i volontari sono stati gentilissimi.”
