Mangualde completes seven PRR projects worth ten million euros

The Municipality of Mangualde has completed seven projects funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) within the established deadline. The total investment amounts to approximately ten million euros, utilizing European financing to address strategic areas including education, health, social services, housing, commerce, and sustainability.

Key completed works include the requalification of the Mangualde Municipal Neighborhood (three million euros) and the second phase of the Felismina Alcântara Secondary School (three million euros). Additionally, the Mangualde Health Center underwent renovations costing one and a half million euros.

Other investments include the transformation of the Emília Alves Dias Residence into two affordable rental apartments (300,000 euros), the ‘Janelas do Bairro de Mangualde’ digital commercial district (700,000 euros), the ‘Radar Social’ community project, and the acquisition of an electric bus.
